What if my door is damaged when it arrives?

Before we ship any door it is inspected for damage. When you receive your door make sure to thoroughly check it before you accept the delivery from the shipper. If you find any damage at the time of delivery make sure to refuse it while the shipper is still present. Do not sign for your door from the shipper before you have done a thorough inspection of the shipment. Any damage found after you have signed cannot be covered by a claim to the shipping company. If damage has been found and you refuse to sign for the door, a replacement door will be sent (same model as previously ordered). Damaged doors can be returned for a refund as well, if you decide you don’t want a replacement door, a restocking fee 25% will be applied.

Manufacturer Guarantee

All doors carry both a manufacturer guarantee and are also insured by the company that ships the door to arrive to your home in flawless condition. All doors, except custom orders, may be returned within a seven day period of receiving shipment. Factory finish or pre-hung doors are considered to be custom orders and are non-refundable.

Professional Installation

In order to qualify for a warranty your door must be installed by a qualified, licensed and professional door installation company. All parts that have been shipped should be inspected before any work is done. Installing a door without the correct knowledge and tools can lead to personal injury.

What if I changed my mind?

If you have changed your mind about your door you can return it. There are a few things you should know. The customer is responsible for a restocking fee of 25%, and for the return charges for shipping. The customer must get preapproval from Krosswood before a return is sent back.
