How will my Krosswood order(s) be shipped to my house?
Due to the large nature of doors, we ship our doors using LTL Freight. This means that your door will arrive on a semi-truck. Our shipping agreement with the freight lines is curbside delivery only. This means your door will be delivered curbside and it is your responsibility to bring the shipment from the curb to your home. Please note that these shipments are extremely heavy and will require assistance to move them. If any have any questions regarding LTL shipments please call our support line.
How quickly can my doors be delivered?
Shipping times generally vary based on current inventory and the amount of customization requested on your order. Generally, we ask our customers to allow two weeks on custom door orders to ensure enough time for building the doors before shipping. For off-the-shelf doors, we can and will ship them much sooner than that. Once your order is ready to ship, we will send you an email containing the shipment details. If you have specific project requirements, please contact us to ensure timely delivery.
Building Code
Building code compliance will fall upon you, the customer, to thoroughly research and understand the specific building codes and regulations applicable to your location. Building codes vary widely depending on region and intended use, encompassing factors such as fire safety, accessibility, and structural integrity. Ensuring compliance with these standards is crucial not only for safety but also for legal and insurance purposes. We recommend consulting with local authorities or a qualified professional to ensure that any installations or modifications meet all necessary requirements. Your diligence in this matter will contribute to creating a safe and compliant environment for all occupants
